Terry Petrick
Terry Petrick graduated from
Texas
Tech
University
with a Bachelor of Business Administration in December of 1977. He then
went to work for Tom Garner and Associates (a local CPA firm). He
received his CPA in May of 1980. Terry worked for Weaver and Tidwell,
CPA’s before the creation of Holmes & Petrick, CPA’s in 1984. He
has since created a strong rapport with his clients and employees. One
of his mottos in business is to treat his clients like they were family.
He currently lives in
Irving,
Texas with his wife Cindy, and daughter Lauren. His oldest daughter Carmen is teaching in
Houston.
Carol Appleton
Carol Ann Appleton received her Bachelor of Arts in History & French (double major) from Frostburg State College (
Maryland) in 1974. She received her Masters of Accounting from the
University of
South Alabama
in 1992, having passed the CPA exam in 1991. She acquired her initial
experience in public accounting in Corpus Christi (Texas), first with
Fields, Nemec, Inc. and then with Canine & Associates, working for
nearly 5 years combined.
Carol's first job in
Dallas
was with the public accounting firm Lane, Gorman, Trubitt & Co. In
an effort to diversify her background, she decided to work in the tax
department of Imco Recycling, Inc. with national headquarters located
in Las Colinas (
Texas), (a suburb of
Dallas). It
was then that Carol realized that public accounting was really her
strong suit, so she hired on with Holmes, Petrick in 1999. She was
made a partner with Holmes & Petrick in 2001.
Carol Appleton currently resides in Coppell (
Texas)
with her husband Bruce, a retired military pilot currently flying for
Continental Airlines. Her children Robyn and Andy attend college in
California.
Howard Holmes
Mr. Holmes retired in 2001 and has gone on to pursue other ventures.
